Our Managing Partners have significant tenure and strong relationships in the European business arena, having founded, built and managed market-leading companies over a period spanning ten years.
Our goal is to build upon and expand this nucleus of relationships and to harness the intellectual capital inherent in them for the benefit of our clients.
Max Cartellieri
Max Cartellieri is a Managing Partner of AlphaSights with responsibility for Business Development, Product and Technology.
Over the period 1999-2006, Max co-founded and served as co-CEO of Ciao AG, Europe’s leading price comparison and product review service, acquired by Microsoft (MSFT) in 2008. Max built Ciao from a founding team of two into a profitable, fast-growing information-services business employing more than 300 employees with offices in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Prior to co-founding Ciao, Max worked at McKinsey & Company and private-equity investors BC Partners.
Max holds a B.Sc. (‘93, 1st class) in Economics as well as an M.Sc. in Finance from the London School of Economics, and an MBA (‘98) from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
Andrew Heath
Andrew Heath is a Managing Partner of AlphaSights with responsibility for Business Development, Client Service and Compliance.
Prior to AlphaSights, Andrew co-founded GoIndustry (GOI), the world’s largest industrial asset valuation and sales provider. As founding CEO, Andrew shaped the strategy and put the company on the path to growth and expansion in business lines. Andrew served on the board of directors until 2006 following GoIndustry’s admission to the London Stock Exchange (AIM) with close to 300 employees and a global footprint spanning more than 20 countries. Prior to GoIndustry, Andrew worked at The Boston Consulting Group.
Andrew holds a BA (’95, Honours) in Economics from Cambridge University and an MBA (’99) from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
